Artificial superintelligence is a long-term horizon for our research ambition: intelligence that could substantially exceed human capability across a broad range of cognitive work. We are motivated by the possibility of discoveries, creative tools and forms of understanding that do not yet exist.
That horizon calls for patience as well as imagination. We want progress that remains open to scrutiny, respects human agency and takes safety seriously. We make room for play and experimentation while keeping responsibility close to the work.
